  • As of August 14, 2011, the lead content limit will become 100 ppm

CPSIA's Statement of Policy: Testing and Certification of Lead Content in Children's Products

Within the above policy is a list of products that do not need to be tested or certified because "...by their nature, they will never exceed the lead content limit..."

Our Conclusion

Many of our products will not need testing or certification because our material, flowers, ribbon, and trims are made from dyed cotton, nylon, silk, and/or spandex.

Our rhinestones and our buttons are the only items we sell that need to be tested and certified. We have taken the necessary measures to ensure that our acrylic rhinestones and buttons are lead-free, and we have the certificates of compliance, if you are interested in viewing them.

ToeBlooms contain small parts. Although all flowers, buttons, and rhinestones are strongly secured, we recommend parent supervision of children who are wearing our products. All of our products come with a small parts safety note.
